Ken Reid, Team Leader. Ken has held various leadership roles in a number of industries over the last 25 years. His passion is to work with a small group of talented people that all share the same philosophy, providing great products and services that improve people’s quality of life and put a smile on their face. His job is to ensure the success of the team so they can make certain that we continue to earn our customers appreciation and loyalty at every opportunity.
John Nybo, Construction Leader. John has 19 years of award winning experience in creating beautiful backyards. He is a 5th generation craftsman that takes great pride in the projects he oversees, surpassed only by his desire to ensure complete customer satisfaction. John looks after the sales and management of our backyard transformation projects and has the rare talent of being able to bring out the customers personality in their design.
Ryan Kemp, Service Leader. Ryan has been working in service roles for 10 years, specifically working with pools and spas for the last 5. He has an in-depth knowledge of pool and spa workings, and an uncanny ability to explain technical issues so that even a novice can understand. He is responsible for the effective and efficient operation of our service department, the largest in the Okanagan Valley.
Terri Wilkinson, Administration Leader. Possessing 16 years experience in the pool and spa industry, Terri has an enormous knowledge of the workings of all areas of a full service pool and spa dealership. We are really 3 companies in 1 - retail, service, and construction – and it is her job to make sure everything stays on track and efficiencies are maximized in each area.
Kimberly Butterworth, Retail Leader. Kim has 9 years of pool and spa retail experience, and she is a lifelong veteran of this industry, having started building pools before she could drive. Her desire is to make your in-store experience as pleasant as possible, whether you are purchasing a pool or spa, or simply bringing in a water sample for free testing by one of our staff.
Andrea Bauer, Service Coordinator. Andrea has been involved with customer service for the past 14 years. She has recently moved to the service team after leading our retail group, where she excelled at understanding the needs of our many long-term customers. Andrea is acutely aware of the benefits of proper pool and spa care.
Harry Cox, Parts and Water Analysis Specialist. Sunshine Pools has been fortunate enough to have Harry on from the beginning - and he shows his expertise daily when assisting customers with virtually any pool or spa problem that comes along. So whether it’s a part you need or some help keeping your water clear, Harry’s 21 years experience here makes him the guy to ask for.
John Vermeulen, Construction Foreman. John has been building pools since 1980. He is a true professional and craftsman who treats every construction project like it’s his own backyard. With the vast amount of knowledge he has attained over the years there is no challenge that he hasn’t seen before and no issue that he can’t overcome.
Terry Moss, Senior Technician. Terry has been servicing pools and spas with Sunshine for 5 years. Prior to this, he worked as a certified electrician, so his understanding of pool and spa wiring and electronics is second to none. He is skilled at troubleshooting many different types of pool and spa problems and as a result he can quickly identify and remedy any issues you have.
